In-person worship now set for Oct. 11.

At its monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 11, the church council made the decision to push back our return to worshipping in person.

A key reason for shifting the date was the need to see how the area school districts openings fare in the first few weeks.

So … instead of Sunday, September 13, the new date for in-person worship is the second Sunday in October (the 11^th).

Please know that this date remains changeable because the council wants to be sure it is safe for us to worship in person again.

The council, therefore, will review the most recent public health, government, church, and school guidance for gatherings before confirming its decision about Sunday, October 11.

The council thanks you for your financial support!

Since we have not been able to come together in-person for worship for nearly six months, we have been dependent on your gifts given outside of worship so we can continue to provide for our staff, support our social media presence and other ministries, and maintain our building.

Thanks are due also to our members who are using electronic giving through their bank or our giving partner Vanco Payment Solutions to make their regular offerings!

For those who aren’t familiar with this option, contributions can be debited automatically from your checking or savings account. This is a convenience for you and provides much-needed donation consistency for our congregation. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when travel, illness, or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.
