This Week’s Music Selection from Heidi Dybing

Moving through my favorite Christmas Carols, this is an Austrian folk tune written in 1865.  The melody and lyrics are a beautiful lullaby to let sleep come to Baby Jesus. (And to Mary. She did all the work.  And Joseph who worried and felt helpless.). I am going to share verse three here as it applies to all of us in these stressful times.
Dream, dream, dream of the joyous day to come. With guardian angels without number Watch you as you sweetly slumber Dream, dream, dream of the joyous day to come.
